1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
zest of half a lemon (optional)
- Make Basic Biscuits according to recipe.
- In a small serving bowl, mix together the strawberries, maple syrup, and lemon zest.
- Serve biscuits warm with butter. Spoon generous amounts of strawberries over the biscuits along with the juices.
